Tulsa Bridal Show Tips & Frequently Asked Questions
about
The Tulsa Wedding Show in Oklahoma.
1.
Why Should You Attend The Tulsa Wedding Show?
Brides, grooms and their families can save time, gas, energy, confusion and money by attending
The Tulsa Wedding Show. Shopping for all your wedding needs at this show eliminates the dreaded phone tag, excess effort in trying to get an appointment with a wedding vendor, and complicated phone answering machines. "Push 1, Push 2, Push 3" options can drive a busy bride bananas when she is anxious to complete her wedding plans. Even e-mail messages are time consuming and delay the immediate response a bride wants and needs. Brides have found that attending this Bridal Show in Tulsa skips all those wasted steps because they will be meeting the key personnel of each participating company face to face on the show floor.
2. Are there merchants in each category?
Yes. At the January bridal show event, over 100 wedding professionals will be showcased in different displays. There will be a variety of selections in the most requested categories such as reception facilities, photographers, caterers and videographers. Best of all we have a variety of price ranges so that there are choices for everyone. No matter the type or style of wedding each couple desires, from very formal to very informal, from large to small budgets…everyone will be impressed with the many options to select from at every Tulsa Wedding Show.
3. Come prepared to make wedding decisions!
Whether the wedding date is just two weeks away or two years away, everything at the show will be "bookable" and "buyable". Couples with very popular wedding dates such as those in June or December will need to quickly make their wedding decisions in order to secure their chosen wedding reception site, caterer or photographer. Many couples do make initial deposits or sign confirmed contracts to secure their top choices at this event. Several companies take credit cards for deposits while others will accept personal checks. Our best advice? If you are not prepared to make a deposit, at least plan to make a definite appointment at the show to meet with your favorite vendors in a few days. The top vendors often find a year's worth of business booked at the show or within a few weeks of the show. Act quickly -- don't procrastinate or you may end up with your 2nd or 3rd choice.
4. Do I need to pre-register?
You can pre-register online but it is optional. If you would like
to pre-register for the next Grand
Prize Wedding Giveaway
you may do that also at the next show.
5. Do I have to pay for parking?
No.
6. Do you have a fashion show?
Yes. We have several fashion shows during the day so that The Tulsa Wedding Show is truly a come and go event for you. We want it to be as convenient as possible.
7. How can you save money?
Each participating vendor will be offering their best prices during the show. Bridal couples will benefit from each wedding vendor participating in The Tulsa Wedding Show. This in turn creates the best values for the services and products that are offered. Couples are encouraged to comparison shop and come prepared with "budget zones" for each category of products or services they would like to incorporate into their wedding plans. The majority of the companies will offer special "show prices" or discounts for immediate bookings -- usually this is a big difference from the prices they normally offer at their locations if you just walked in off the street. Some also offer the perk of a special gift with a purchase.

9. What should I ask the merchants?
The Tulsa Wedding Show features companies in over 30 different categories of wedding and new home needs. Come with a specific date and time in mind for the wedding services required. First find out if they have your date open. Then ask questions about specific services. For example, ask the photographers and videographers to see examples and make sure their style is compatible with yours. Ask bakeries about delivery fees, cake filling flavors, etc. These wedding professionals enjoy meeting you and are eager to answer your questions, so don’t hesitate to ask!
10. What to bring?
Your wedding planner notebook will be helpful. You may want to bring your dress swatches. Bring a checklist of the most important elements needed to complete your wedding plans. Be sure to keep the show program and tuck it into your planner for a reference.
11. What to wear?
Definitely wear comfortable clothes and easy walking shoes. This show has many aisles of exhibits to review as well as special music, fashion shows and displays.
