What is the Plan Your Day Rewards Card?
- The PYD card is a membership card that directs card owners to purchase wedding goods and services from wedding businesses that are current members.
- Any offer may be made through the PYD card as long as it has a value of $35 or more.
What is the purpose of the Plan Your Day Rewards Card?
- The PYD card seeks to motivate a bride to “BUY IT NOW.”
- Improve exposure for the offering business.
What would a wedding business offer through the PYD card?
- The only requirement for an offer is that has a single-use minimum retail value of at least $35.00.
- The offer should make your business look good.
- Offer has a genuine beginning and ending date.
- Only a registered buyer may use the PYD card.
- Each card is numbered and registered to the buyer.
Can a business member use the PYD card for sales/marketing campaigns?
- Yes.
How many offers are allowed for the PYD card?
- Two offers; primary and secondary.
- A business must have a primary offer for a year.
- This offer remains in place and may not be rescinded.
- It remains on the PYD site for one year after posting.
- In addition, a business may have a secondary offer for as few as 3 (THREE) business days or any other time length. This offer may be re-offered or changed after it expires as needed.
- Offers are maintained by the business member via the web site.
- Log on with user name / email address and password.
- Offers are not malleable. Once we have approved your offer, it must remain valid for the specified duration.
- When an offer has expired, you may create a new offer to take its place.
Offer must reflect a dollar amount, NOT a percent off.
- GOOD Example: $50 off of the basic package = $500 value. (Not 10% off of a $500 package.)
- GOOD Example: Buy XYZ and receive an ABC free = $50 retail value.
- UNACCEPTABLE Example: Buy XYZ and receive 10% off, etc.
- Brides must purchase the PYD card for $35.00
- PYD cards are valid for 1 year from purchase date.
- A purchaser shows the PYD card to the business member at the time of purchase.

- Yes.
Does the PYD card have costs for a business to join?
- No cost until 01-01-2012. After that, an annual charge will apply.
What ongoing fees are associated with the PYD card?
- There are no ongoing fees.
Does a business have to be in The Tulsa Wedding Show to add an offer to the PYD card?
- No.
What is required from a wedding business to submit an offer on the PYD card?
- Place a link to the PYD card page on your web site.
- Post the link to the PYD card on your facebook page.
- Send a notice to your facebook fans/friends.
Does a business sign an agreement to become a PYD member?
- Beginning 01-01-2012.

- At The Tulsa Wedding Show.
- The Tulsa Wedding Show website, PYD Rewards card page.
- Links to member web sites.
- Email blasts.

What are some examples of how to use the PYD card effectively?
- Selling small quantities of items.
- Testing of new services.
- Testing new lines of merchandise.
- Testing lengths of time to offer a service/item.
- Testing best times of year to offer new services.
- Building a clientele for after the wedding.
- Checking if a new offering will work.
- Combining offers with other PYD merchants for new sales options.
- Business tracking/trends, etc.
- Selling clearance merchandise.
How do I sign up for the PYD Card?
- Follow these steps if you already have an account on our site (for the wedding show or visit the venues day):
- Log in to the site using the small form on the left side of the site, under the main menu.
- Navigate to your account page by clicking the "Your Name's Page" link at the top of the main menu.
- Under the "Easy Link" section, click the "I want to add or change my Plan Your Day Rewards Card offers" link.
- Under the "PYD Offers" title, select the name of the business for which you would like to post an offer.
- If you do not see your business name, use the "Add a Business" form to activate your business on the site.
- Once you have added a business, you will have to wait for verfication from us before you can post a PYD offer.
- Fill out the form.
- Note! You must always have at least a main offer; this is the offer that lasts for one year.
- Note! Make sure that you have selected the correct business type from the dropdown menu at the top before you hit "Submit."
- If you need to create a main offer, fill out the upper section of the form.
- If you need to create a secondary offer, fill out the lower section of the form. Keep in mind that the optional offer must last at least 3 days.
- Click "Submit."
- Wait for verification from us. We will let you know by email if we have approved your offer.

- Fill out the next form, which contains your personal information. Click "Submit."
- Fill out this next form, which allows you to connect your user account to a business entity. Click "Submit."
- Wait for a verification email from us. We will need to approve your connection to your business.
